1) What question does Erik pose to the audience? 

In the beginning Erik asked, "what is photography" 




2) What was Erik’s first real passion? 

Erik's first real passion was drawing. 




3) What conception of photography did Erik previously hold? 

He used to think that the process ended as soon as you clicked the trigger to take the picture and that anyone could do it. 




4) How did this inspire him? 

This inspired him to want to be different from everypone else and do something new with photography. 




5) What “common goal” do Erik’s photos have?  

The common goal is to trick you mind and to make you wonder if it could be real or how it isn't. 




6) Define realism as used in this context. 

Realism is taking something that is impossible and making it look real to trick the mind.




7) What principles does he adhere to when creating an image? 

He always kept with the principles that photos being combined must have the same lighting, the same depth perception, and the colors must blend together correctly.

  

8) Why is it easier to create a place rather than to find a place? 

It is easier to create a place because you don't have a limit on your imagination and you can do as much as you want with the picture.  




9) How does he plan the photos? 
He plans by having an idea and sketching it out, and then finding the pictures and putting them together to create one thing
   




10) What is his conclusion? 

He concludes that the only thing limiting us is our imagination
